Our next Inipi Lodge

Our next Inipi Lodge will be Saturday, Aug 28
at Seven Circles. We plan to start at 3:00 p.m.
We will have a potluck meal after the sweat. Remember to thank the fire keepers and the ones that pour water for you.
NOTE: Men should have shorts and a towel.
Women should wear a long skirt or loose dress and a towel.
A reply, although not mandatory, is nice so we may better plan for the ceremony. As always, everyone is welcome.

Thanks, Butch

Individuals can learn about, share in, and enjoy the rich and complex cultural heritage of the diverse cultures that have been in the Peoria area, ranging from Native American through European immigrant to today's culture. The American Indian people are the hosts, but all other people are invited to be a part of the membership and activities. Connections are made between all tribes of people and many cultures. A high priority is preserving the culture to pass on to future generations.
"We are all related" is an important belief taught to keep harmony and balance on the planet.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

Volunteers are needed to help with multiple projects including: finishing bunk rooms, restrooms and shower facilities; as well as all general maintenance and cleanup activities.

Plans have also been proposed to build Memory Gardens and Medicine Wheel Garden and possibly a labyrinth. Perennials, hostas, native plants and grasses, etc. are always appreciated.
